ContiTech 4040387S Multi-V Serpentine Belt - 4-Rib 38.70

The ContiTech 4040387S is a 4-rib, 38.70-inch Multi-V serpentine belt engineered using the latest OEM technology. Built with EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) compounds and a polyamide tensile cord, this belt delivers long-lasting, reliable performance in demanding accessory drive applications.

The belt's polyamide tensile cord uses low-modulus, high-elongation technology that allows it to stretch during installation on fixed drive systems, then recover to maintain proper tension once in place — eliminating the need for a separate tensioner on compatible applications.

Key Features:

• 4-Rib Multi-V profile — 38.70 inches in length
• EPDM rubber construction — resists heat, ozone, and wear for extended service life
• Polyamide tensile cord — provides self-tensioning capability on fixed drive systems
• OEM-quality engineering — built to meet original equipment specifications
• OEM Cross-Reference: 53013892AB

ContiTech, a brand of Continental, is a globally recognized leader in power transmission belts. The 4040387S is a direct-fit replacement designed to restore proper accessory drive function with a straightforward installation.
