Product Details

The S&S Cycle 106-5228 is an Easy Start 625 gear drive camshaft set with inner gears. Easy Start cams reduce cranking compression only while the engine is being started. S&S designed them to overcome the sometimes troublesome starting of big-inch, high-compression engines.

Key Features:

  • Easy Start design that lowers cranking compression during starting only
  • 625 grind, gear drive cams supplied with inner gears only
  • Application recommendation: 95" and larger engines with 10.0:1 to 10.8:1 compression ratio

Installation Notes:

  • Not compatible with kick start models
  • Camshafts made before January 2010 require adjustable pushrods
  • Not for use with S&S 79cc heads
