Product Details

The Doug's Headers H7044 is a precision-crafted J-bend exhaust tube designed for custom header fabrication and exhaust system construction. This mandrel-bent tube features a 2-1/8 inch outside diameter with a smooth, wrinkle-free bend profile that maintains consistent inner diameter throughout the curve for optimal exhaust flow.

Key Features:

  • 2-1/8 inch (2.125") outside diameter tubing
  • 3 inch centerline radius bend for tight fitment
  • 16-gauge mild steel construction for durability
  • Mandrel-bent for smooth, wrinkle-free curves with no crimping
  • 6 inch short leg (A leg) and 15 inch long leg (B leg) configuration
  • 180-degree J-bend design reduces required welds in header construction

This exhaust component is ideal for professional header builders, custom muffler shops, and do-it-yourself enthusiasts looking to create custom exhaust systems. The mandrel bending process ensures maximum flow efficiency by maintaining constant tube diameter through the bend, unlike crush-bent alternatives that restrict exhaust flow. The extended B-leg length reduces the number of welds required in many header designs, simplifying fabrication and improving structural integrity.
