Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1890B Remanufactured Complete Rear Axle Assembly Chrysler Ratio - 8.25 3.55 2WD

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1890B is a remanufactured complete rear axle assembly built for the Chrysler 8.25" rear end with a 3.55 gear ratio in a 2WD configuration. Engineered to restore OEM-level drivetrain performance, this drop-in replacement assembly is built to Zumbrota's exacting remanufacturing standards and is ready to install straight out of the box.

Remanufacturing Process:

• Every assembly is thoroughly inspected for axle tube straightness, cracks, and surface wear to ensure OEM standards are met
• All internal components — including ring & pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers — are fully inspected and tested
• All bearings and seals are replaced during the rebuild process
• Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns; rolling torque is set using inch-pound measurements for precise setup and long-term durability
• Correct gear backlash is established to ensure proper lubrication and quiet, smooth operation
• An exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure is performed on all internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process

Warranty: Backed by Zumbrota's standard 2-year/unlimited mileage warranty for 3/4-ton and lighter vehicle applications. A no-fault 3-year warranty upgrade is also available, providing additional coverage for labor, towing, rental, and freight charges.

Core Charge: This remanufactured unit requires a core return. A refundable core charge applies at the time of purchase and is returned when your original unit is sent back for remanufacturing.
