The USA Standard Gear ZTNP21943 is a replacement front case half designed specifically for the NP261XHD (New Process 261 Extra Heavy Duty) transfer case. This essential component serves as the front housing section of the transfer case assembly, providing structural integrity and mounting points for internal components.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for NP261XHD transfer case front case half
• OEM part number cross-reference: 12478078
• Manufactured from durable magnesium alloy for strength and reduced weight
• Designed for heavy-duty applications in GM 2500HD and 3500HD trucks
• Compatible with 6.6L Duramax diesel and 8.1L Vortec gas engines
• Works with both Allison automatic and ZF 6-speed manual transmissions

The NP261XHD transfer case was the factory-installed unit in 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD trucks equipped with high-output engines. This front case half is a critical component for transfer case rebuilds or when repairing damage from pump rub or case wear. The NP261XHD features reinforced internals compared to the standard NP261HD, making it suitable for higher torque applications and heavy towing demands.
