Product Details

The USA Standard Gear ZMSRM5R1-14C is a reverse blocker synchronizer ring designed for the M5R1 (M5OD-R1) manual transmission. This precision-manufactured component ensures smooth gear engagement and prevents grinding when shifting into reverse gear in 1992-2000 Ford and Mazda vehicles equipped with the Mazda-built M5R1 5-speed manual transmission.

Key Features:

  • 30-tooth reverse blocker synchro ring design
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged original equipment
  • Manufactured to meet OEM specifications for proper fit and function
  • Essential component for smooth reverse gear operation
  • Quality construction ensures reliable performance and durability

Synchronizer rings are critical wear components in manual transmissions that use friction to match gear speeds during shifts. When these rings wear out, drivers experience difficulty engaging gears, grinding noises, or gear clash. Replacing worn synchro rings restores smooth shifting performance and protects other transmission components from damage. USA Standard Gear manufactures a comprehensive line of transmission components to keep your manual transmission operating at peak performance.

Easy to order

Very easy website to navigate and order from. Payment process was quick and easy as well. Delivery schedule was as promised and arrived as scheduled.

Great service

Quick and easy transaction, would prefer the packing department used a recyclable material instead of plastic based materials.

Wonderful customer service and prices. Wish could ship faster. Ordered Friday morning but won’t get to shipping until Monday. Middle of painting my boat and this delay will make me add an additional coat.

Fast delivery!!
