Product Details

The EBC MD8014XC is one of the lightest fully floating motorcycle brake rotors available, designed to eliminate vibration problems and deliver extended rotor life. This British-made rotor features German mill rolled precision stainless steel rotor blades with a weight-reducing contoured profile, mounted onto a lightweight alloy center hub using EBC's patented SD square drive button technology.

Key Features:

  • Contoured profile reduces weight by 7.5 percent without reducing actual cooling mass of disc
  • Patented square drive button system prevents warping and vibration under heavy braking
  • Uses only six drive buttons, further reducing unit weight by up to 300 grams
  • Heat treated stainless steel rotor blade with vertical scraper slot system removes dirt, dust and debris from the braking area
  • Unique fully overlapping vent hole pattern reduces weight, cleans disc blade and helps deglaze pads
  • True fully floating design offers more inside to outside float tolerance than any other rotor

The XC Series rotor blades are made from mill hard stainless steel for maximum brake effect and serve as direct size-for-size replacements for OEM discs. Hand built and inspected to minute tolerances to ensure the highest quality. Sold individually per disc.

There were quite a few spots where tge paint was chipped and also where it has came off due to the box being opened when I received it. I had to buy $25 in spray paint and primer to remedy this.
