EBC MD1136XC Full Floating Contour Brake Rotor XC Series

The EBC MD1136XC is a full floating contour rotor designed for sport and race applications, offering superior performance for high-performance motorcycles. The XC-Series features a contoured lighter weight profile, distinguishing it from the full-circle X-Series design while maintaining exceptional braking power.

Key Features:

• Contoured profile reduces weight by 7.5 percent without reducing actual cooling mass
• British made using German mill rolled precision stainless steel rotor blades
• Six drive button design further reduces unit weight by up to 300 grams
• Square sided drive button system completely eliminates rotor warping and extends rotor life
• Vertical scraper slot system removes dirt, dust and debris quickly from braking area
• Fully overlapping vent hole pattern reduces weight and helps deglaze pads
• Precision ground for fast pad bed-in and 100% inspected for accuracy and runout

These fully floating units offer more inside to outside float tolerance than any other rotor on the planet, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. The special stainless steel blend provides higher friction effect than normal heat-treated stainless steel, boasting up to 10% improvement in friction. Direct OEM replacement sizing makes installation straightforward. New brake pads are recommended when installing new rotors for optimal performance.
