Amana-Goodman 0200-132-001P Sequencer Timer for Electric Furnaces

The Amana-Goodman 0200-132-001P is a genuine OEM sequencer/timer designed for electric furnaces and heat pump systems. This critical control component manages the staged activation of heating elements, preventing electrical overload and ensuring efficient system operation.

Key Features:

• Prevents circuit breaker tripping by staggering heating element activation
• Controls timing sequence for multiple heating stages
• Manages blower fan operation for optimal heat distribution
• Heavy-duty metal construction for durability and shock resistance
• 24-volt control input compatible with standard HVAC thermostats
• Utilizes bimetallic disc technology to control electrical contacts

The sequencer works by receiving the thermostat signal and gradually routing power to each heating element in sequence, allowing each to warm up before activating the next. This staged operation protects your electrical system from sudden high-amperage draws while maintaining consistent comfort. When properly functioning, the sequencer also ensures the blower fan activates after heating elements reach temperature and continues running briefly after shutdown to maximize heat extraction and system efficiency.

This is a direct replacement OEM part specifically engineered for Amana and Goodman brand electric furnaces and heat pump systems, ensuring proper fit and reliable performance.
