Platinum Pro 8220808 High-Torque Mini Starter

The Platinum Pro 8220808 is a high-torque mini starter engineered for demanding performance and competition applications. Built for engines that exceed the limits of standard OEM starters, this unit delivers the reliable cranking power needed for high-compression, large-displacement, and forced-induction engines.

Key Features:

• High-Torque Output: Powerful motor delivers significantly more torque than standard mini high-torque starters, ensuring reliable starts on even the most demanding builds
• Gear Reduction Design: High gear reduction ratio multiplies cranking torque to overcome high compression ratios and large cubic inch displacement
• Compact Mini Form Factor: Downsized housing helps clear tight engine bay obstacles including oil pans, headers, and frame rails
• Competition-Grade Construction: Designed for all-out competition use and race-proven durability in high-stress environments
• 16-Volt Compatible: Can be used with 16-volt electrical systems for an additional increase in torque and cranking speed
• Complete Hardware Included: Comes with all required mounting hardware for installation

The Platinum Pro 8220808 starter is ideal for high-performance street and strip applications including supercharged and turbocharged engines, big-inch naturally aspirated motors, and any build running elevated compression ratios that demand more cranking reliability than a stock starter can provide.
