The Rock Krawler JL45X2PLA-4CS is the 4.5-inch X Factor X2 Pro Long Arm Coilover Suspension System, engineered for serious rock crawlers who demand the ultimate in articulation, ground clearance, and trail performance.

At its core, the X Factor X2 architecture delivers an independent 3-link design front and rear for maximum suspension articulation and off-road performance. The front coilover setup replaces the factory coil-and-shock arrangement with a full coilover assembly, and the double adjustable upper control arms are upgraded to 14mm hardware with a 2-3/8-inch mounting width and 1-inch Pro Krawler joints at each end. Upper arm tubes are constructed from chromoly solid steel to handle the full torsional and bending forces of the suspension system.

The rear X2 suspension geometry provides adjustable anti-squat with enhanced rear instant center and roll center tuning for predictable on-road handling and confident trail articulation. The new high clearance axle brackets deliver 4.5 inches of additional ground clearance under the rear axle compared to stock, and the rear upper shock relocation brackets preserve maximum shock and suspension travel. Heat shield thermal barrier products protect the front control arm frame joints, just like OEM construction.

Installation Notes: This system requires welding of front and rear long arm mounts, removal of OEM frame-side and axle-side control arm mounts, modification of OEM rear shock mounts, and welding of raised rear upper shock mounts. A new front CV driveshaft is recommended for any front shock configuration with maximum extended length greater than 29 inches. Installation of limiting straps is strongly recommended after final setup.
