Product Details

The COMP Cams K01-600-8 Thumpr K-Kit delivers aggressive performance for Chevrolet Big Block Gen VI engines with a complete camshaft installation package. This hydraulic roller camshaft features a 227/241 duration split designed to produce the signature Thumpr idle sound while delivering strong mid-range torque and horsepower gains.

Complete K-Kit Includes:

  • Hydraulic roller camshaft with 227/241 duration profile
  • Hydraulic roller lifters engineered for the camshaft specifications
  • High-performance valve springs designed to handle the cam's lift and duration
  • Hardened steel retainers for reliable valve train operation
  • Precision valve locks (keepers) for secure retainer installation
  • Valve stem seals to prevent oil consumption
  • Timing chain set with gears for proper cam timing
  • Assembly lube to protect components during initial startup
  • Installation instructions and COMP Cams decals

The Thumpr series is known for its aggressive lope at idle that transitions into strong acceleration, making it ideal for street performance applications. This complete kit eliminates the guesswork of component matching, ensuring all valve train components are properly engineered to work together for reliable performance and durability.
