Installation Notes:

When installing on 1996 and later Vortec engines, a simple water bypass modification is required. Run a short length of heater hose from a pipe-tapped hole in the front of the manifold to the 5/8-inch hose nipple on the passenger side of the water pump. Intake gaskets with 0.120-inch thickness are recommended for proper sealing.
