Dorman 604-990 HVAC Blend Door Actuator for GM Vehicles

The Dorman 604-990 HVAC Blend Door Actuator is designed to control the flow of air within your vehicle's heating and cooling system, ensuring optimal climate control for a comfortable driving experience. This HVAC blend door actuator is engineered to directly match the fit, function, and performance of original equipment actuators on a wide range of General Motors vehicles.

Key Features:

• Features frustration-free captive screws that remain in place, significantly easing the often-tricky process of aligning the actuator within the HVAC case
• 5 male blade terminals with black female connector
• Includes 3 mounting screws and 3 retaining washers
• Black plastic construction with rotary switch activation
• Designed for specific GM cars and trucks, fitting multiple years, makes, models, positions, and trims
• Dorman-engineered with robust materials to improve durability and performance

This repair is often a time-consuming job that can require removal of the dashboard and a fair amount of awkward wrenching maneuvers in tight, sometimes invisible vehicle recesses, making the captive screw design especially valuable for simplifying installation. Common signs of a failing actuator include inconsistent temperature control, strange noises from the dashboard area, or the air not switching between heating and cooling modes.
