Amana-Goodman 1370914S Auto Limit Switch 190-220°F Furnace High Limit Control

The Amana-Goodman 1370914S is a genuine OEM auto-reset high limit switch designed for use in Goodman, Amana, and Janitrol furnaces and HVAC systems. This service limit switch is rated at a cut-out temperature of 220°F with a reset differential of 30°F, meaning it automatically resets once the system temperature drops approximately 30°F below the cut-out point (approximately 190°F).

The high limit switch serves as a critical safety component in gas furnace systems. It continuously monitors heat exchanger and plenum temperatures, and automatically interrupts the heating circuit if temperatures exceed safe operating thresholds — helping to protect equipment from heat damage and preventing potential fire hazards.

Key Features:

• OEM Genuine Part — direct replacement manufactured to original Goodman/Amana specifications
• Auto-Reset Operation — automatically resets when temperature returns to safe operating range
• Cut-Out Temperature: 220°F (L220F)
• Reset Differential: 30°F (closes at approximately 190°F)
• Compatible with Goodman, Amana, and Janitrol branded furnace and HVAC equipment
• Provides overheat protection to safeguard the heat exchanger and extend system life

Replacing a failed or tripped high limit switch with a genuine OEM part like the 1370914S ensures reliable, accurate temperature response and long-term performance in your heating system.
