Product Details

The Cometic C5498-027 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler 420A and ECC engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features an 88.5mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .027 inches, providing exceptional sealing capability for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior durability and heat resistance
  • 88.5mm bore diameter designed for Chrysler 420A/ECC engine applications
  • .027" compressed thickness for optimal compression ratio tuning
  • Advanced embossment technology ensures proper sealing under extreme cylinder pressures
  • Resistant to blown gaskets and combustion leaks in high-performance builds
  • Manufactured with proprietary materials that withstand extreme temperatures

Cometic MLS head gaskets are the preferred choice for enthusiasts building turbocharged, supercharged, or naturally aspirated engines where reliability and performance are critical. The multi-layer design allows the gasket to adapt to minor surface imperfections while maintaining consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface.
