Product Details

The Cometic C5799-060 is a premium multi-layer steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler B and RB series big block engines. This high-performance gasket features a .060" compressed thickness and is designed for engines with a 4.600" bore diameter with siamese bore configuration.

Key Features:

  • Multi-layer steel construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .060" compressed gasket thickness for precise compression control
  • 4.600" bore diameter accommodates stroker and big bore applications
  • Siamese bore design for proper coolant passage configuration
  • Embossed stainless steel outer layers with fluoroelastomer rubber coating
  • Handles extreme cylinder pressures in high-performance and forced induction applications

Cometic MLS gaskets are the preferred choice for engine builders seeking maximum reliability in demanding applications. The multi-layer design allows the gasket to recover and maintain seal integrity under thermal cycling and extreme combustion pressures. Compatible with Chrysler 383, 400, 413, 426, 440, and 493 cubic inch big block engines.
