Bridgestone 014119 Potenza RE97AS RFT 225/50R18 94V All-Season Run-Flat Tire

The Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS Run-Flat (RFT) is a Grand Touring All-Season tire engineered for drivers of high-performance sedans, sporty coupes, and luxury passenger vehicles who demand confident handling in all weather conditions without sacrificing ride quality.

At the core of the RE97AS RFT is Bridgestone's self-supporting run-flat technology, which features a reinforced internal sidewall structure capable of supporting the vehicle's weight even after a complete loss of air pressure. This allows continued driving for up to 50 miles at speeds up to 50 mph after a puncture, eliminating the need for an immediate roadside tire change.

Key Features:

• Run-Flat Technology (RFT): Reinforced sidewalls allow up to 50 miles of continued mobility at up to 50 mph after complete pressure loss
• High-Silica Tread Compound: Delivers strong grip on both wet and dry road surfaces while maintaining flexibility across a wide temperature range
• Latest Tread Polymer Technology: Extends tread life and improves overall wear performance
• Finely Tuned Tread Pattern: Optimized tread elements and wide shoulder blocks enhance steering response, cornering grip, and all-season traction
• Circumferential Grooves: Efficiently channel water away from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and deliver confident wet-weather performance
• Optimized Casing: Engineered for reduced rolling resistance for improved fuel efficiency and better gas mileage
• All-Season Capability: Tread design provides reliable traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions
• UTQG Rating: 400AA — treadwear 400, traction A, temperature A
• Black Sidewall (BSW) finish

The Potenza RE97AS RFT carries a 55,000-mile treadwear warranty on V-speed-rated sizes. With a load index of 94 (1,477 lbs max load) and a V speed rating (up to 149 mph), this tire delivers the performance and reliability expected from one of the world's leading tire manufacturers.
