Airtex 5S16503 Intake Manifold Runner Control Sensor

The Airtex 5S16503 Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Sensor is a direct replacement OE-quality sensor designed to monitor the position of intake manifold runner control valves. This sensor plays a critical role in engine performance by providing feedback to the engine control module (ECM) about the position of the variable intake runners, allowing the system to optimize airflow for improved power delivery and fuel efficiency across different engine speeds.

Key Features:

• OE-quality construction for reliable, long-lasting performance
• Precision-engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Direct-fit replacement for easy installation
• Helps maintain optimal engine performance and fuel economy
• Manufactured by Airtex, a trusted name in automotive replacement parts

This sensor is essential for proper operation of variable intake manifold systems, preventing check engine lights and ensuring your engine runs at peak efficiency. When the IMRC sensor fails, it can cause poor acceleration, reduced fuel economy, and diagnostic trouble codes.
