The Fox Racing Shocks 981-30-422-R is a Factory Race Series 3.0-inch external bypass piggyback shock absorber purpose-built for short course off-road racing. Engineered and valved specifically for short course spec competition, this right-hand shock delivers the same position-sensitive damping technology and race-proven durability found in Trophy Truck-winning suspension systems.

Fox's external bypass design uses position-sensitive damping to deliver a plush, controlled ride through normal suspension travel while aggressively ramping up damping force at the extremes to prevent harsh bottom-outs and top-outs. Four externally adjustable bypass tubes — two compression and two rebound (including one gold valve free-bleed) — allow precise tuning for vehicle weight, terrain, and speed without disassembly.
