Fox Racing Shocks 981-25-403-R Factory Race 2.5 x 12 External Bypass Piggyback Shock

The Fox Racing Shocks Factory Race 2.5 x 12 External Bypass Piggyback Shock delivers professional-grade suspension performance for demanding off-road applications. This right-side shock features a 2.5-inch bore diameter with 12 inches of travel, engineered to provide exceptional control across the entire range of suspension movement.

Key Features:

• 3-tube external bypass design allows independent tuning of compression damping at different shaft positions for optimized performance throughout the stroke
• Piggyback reservoir configuration increases oil and nitrogen capacity for consistent damping and fade resistance during extended use
• Fully rebuildable and serviceable construction for long-term durability and maintenance
• Custom valving options available to match specific vehicle weight, terrain, and driving style
• Right-side orientation for proper installation and bypass tube positioning
• Race-proven Factory Race series engineering with premium materials and tight tolerances

The external bypass system provides superior damping control compared to conventional shocks by allowing the suspension to be softer in the middle of the stroke for comfort while maintaining firm control at the extremes of travel. This Factory Race shock is ideal for high-performance off-road racing, rock crawling, and extreme terrain applications where precision suspension tuning is critical.
