Amana-Goodman 0130F00494 High Altitude Pressure Switch for Gas Furnaces

The Amana-Goodman 0130F00494 is a high-altitude pressure switch engineered for use in Goodman and Amana brand gas furnaces operating at elevated elevations. At higher altitudes, reduced atmospheric pressure affects combustion air flow, and this switch ensures the furnace's inducer motor is creating adequate draft before allowing ignition — a critical safety and performance function.

Key Features:

• Designed specifically for high-altitude furnace installations where standard pressure switches are insufficient
• Monitors negative pressure created by the draft inducer to confirm proper venting before ignition sequence proceeds
• Acts as a safety interlock — prevents furnace operation if draft pressure is outside safe parameters
• Direct OEM replacement part for compatible Goodman and Amana furnace models
• Factory-calibrated to the correct pressure setpoint for high-altitude operation
• Durable construction for reliable, long-term service in demanding HVAC environments

This pressure switch is an OEM-quality replacement that restores safe, proper furnace operation. It is a direct drop-in replacement for the original component, requiring no modification. Always confirm compatibility with your specific furnace model before installation. Manufacturer Part Number (MPN): 0130F00494.
