Hella 011178901 Rain Sensor 3-Pin Connector Clipped with Cable

The Hella 011178901 (OE# 6PW 011 178-901) is a direct-fit replacement rain sensor engineered to OE specifications. Designed for clip-style mounting to the windshield, it connects via a 3-pin connector and includes a cable for straightforward installation into compatible vehicles.

Hella is the original equipment manufacturer of rain/light sensors for numerous European and domestic vehicle platforms, and this unit draws on that same OE engineering expertise. The sensor uses infrared light technology to detect moisture on the windshield surface, automatically triggering and adjusting wiper speed in response to rainfall intensity — eliminating the need for manual wiper adjustment.

Key Features:

• OE-quality rain sensor built to original equipment standards
• 3-pin connector with integrated cable for plug-and-play installation
• Clipped mounting design for secure windshield attachment
• Automatic windshield wiper activation and speed control based on detected rain intensity
• Integrated light sensing capability for automatic low-beam headlight activation
• Solar load and humidity detection to support climate control optimization
• Compact, low-profile housing — one of the smallest sensors of its type on the market
• Sold individually
