Product Details

The USA Standard Gear 55081 is a solid pinion spacer kit for the Toyota 8" IFS (clamshell) front differential. It works as a crush sleeve eliminator. A machined solid spacer and preload shims replace the factory collapsible crush sleeve when you set pinion bearing preload.

The solid spacer is slightly shorter than a crush sleeve. Shims are stacked with it to reach the correct preload. This makes it a good choice for differential rebuilds and gear installs on Toyota 8" IFS front axles.
