Hella 010946211 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

The Hella 010946211 is a direct-fit accelerator pedal position sensor (APS) engineered to restore precise throttle control in electronic throttle control (ETC) systems. In modern drive-by-wire vehicles, a physical cable no longer connects the pedal to the throttle body — instead, this sensor continuously monitors pedal position and transmits that data to the engine control unit (ECU), which then commands the throttle elements on gasoline engines or the injection system on diesel applications.

Key Features:

• Measures and transmits accelerator pedal position to the ECU for accurate, responsive throttle control
• Built to original equipment (OE) specifications for reliable fit and function
• Compatible with both conventional vehicles and hybrid/electric vehicle APS systems
• Integrated modular design — pedal, pedal force generation, and sensor are combined in a single assembly
• Available in pendant and floor-mount configurations to suit various platform architectures
• Manufactured by Hella, a market and technology leader in accelerator pedal sensors with production experience since 1996
• Installation by qualified personnel recommended; may require calibration and system verification after fitment

A failed or degraded accelerator pedal sensor can trigger diagnostic trouble codes including P0120, P0121, P0122, P0123, and P2135, and may cause symptoms such as erratic throttle response, unresponsive acceleration, or an illuminated Check Engine light. The Hella 010946211 is backed by Hella's one-year limited warranty for electronic sensors, conditional on fitment by a professionally trained technician.
