The Enginetech BB285J100 is a connecting rod bearing set designed for AMC, Chevrolet, and Isuzu engines displacing 2.8L (173 CID), 3.1L (189 CID), and 3.4L (207 CID). This set is sized at .100" undersize (also noted as J100), intended for use with crankshaft rod journals that have been machined 0.100" undersized during an engine rebuild.

Key Features:

• Advanced aluminum-silicon bearing material — delivers performance equal to or better than traditional tri-metal designs
• High load capacity with excellent anti-friction properties including wear resistance, anti-seizure characteristics, and embeddability
• Precision-machined parting line chamfers — cut at the correct angle to allow proper oil bleed-through without sacrificing oil pressure
• Consistent bearing thickness — manufactured on state-of-the-art equipment to ensure proper oil clearances throughout the rebuild
• 0.100" undersize crankshaft journal fit — designed for use when rod journals have been ground 0.100" undersized
• Enginetech trusted brand — the choice of professional engine rebuilders for over 25 years

These rod bearings are a direct-fit replacement for engine rebuilds on the GM 2.8L V6 (173 CID), 3.1L V6 (189 CID), and 3.4L V6 (207 CID) engine families used across multiple AMC, Chevrolet, and Isuzu applications. Always verify crankshaft journal measurements before selecting bearing undersize.
