Wiseco RED0018X05 RED Series Forged Piston Set

The Wiseco RED0018X05 is part of Wiseco's RED™ Series (Race Engineered Design™) forged piston set lineup, engineered for domestic V8 performance applications ranging from drag racing to circle track competition. These pistons deliver the strength, durability, and precision-machined features that serious performance builds demand.

Key Features:

• Race Engineered Design™ (RED™): Forged from 2618 aluminum alloy for the tensile strength required in performance racing and power adder applications
• ArmorGlide® Skirt Coating: Permanently applied dry film lubricant reduces operating friction and noise while minimizing skirt and cylinder wear
• Dedicated Forgings: Engine-specific strutted design optimizes the strength-to-weight ratio for each application
• Horizontal Slot Oiling: Pin bore oiling channels maintain optimal wrist pin and small-end lubrication for long service life
• Accumulator Groove: Helps maintain consistent ring seal and power output
• Premium Rings Included: Each kit includes matched performance rings — no additional sourcing required
• Made in the USA: Engineered, forged, and machined at Wiseco's facility in Mentor, Ohio

The RED™ Series represents the ultimate balance of performance and value for domestic V8 platforms, making it a top choice for engine builders focused on competitive performance. Always verify specific bore, stroke, and compression specifications using Wiseco's official spec card included with the kit prior to assembly.
