Amana-Goodman 0151R00210S R-410A Thermal Expansion Valve Kit 2.5-3 Ton

The Amana-Goodman 0151R00210S is a 2.5-3 ton non-bleed thermal expansion valve (TXV) kit designed for air conditioning and heat pump systems using R-410A refrigerant. This fixed adjustable TXV is specifically designed for 2023 DOE models of Goodman condensers and heat pumps, including GSXN3, GSXN4, GSXM4, GSXB4, GSXH5, GSXC7, GSZB4, GSZH5, and GSZC7 series.

Key Features:

• Offers precise control over liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator coil, ensuring all liquid completely evaporates
• Features 1/8 inch capillary with straight-through connection
• Multi-position mounting capability on the evaporator coil inlet for versatile installation
• Required for high-efficiency systems and those using R-410A refrigerant
• Non-bleed design for improved efficiency

A TXV kit enhances system operation and efficiency by preventing too little liquid from entering the evaporator (which reduces efficiency) and stopping excess liquid from causing problems in the lines. This component is required for 14 SEER or higher split system heat pumps and many condensers or heat pump systems designed for R-410A refrigerant.
