Wells 2M1563 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid 1 Pack

The Wells 2M1563 is a direct-fit vapor canister purge solenoid (also known as an EVAP purge valve or purge control solenoid valve) designed to restore proper evaporative emission control system function. This solenoid valve is controlled by the engine control module (ECM) to regulate the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister into the intake manifold for combustion, preventing harmful hydrocarbons from venting to the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement for precise fit and function
• Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Restores proper EVAP system operation and clears related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
• Helps eliminate rough idle, poor fuel economy, and failed emissions tests caused by a faulty purge valve
• Durable construction for long-lasting, reliable performance
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted supplier of engine management and emissions components

A failing vapor canister purge solenoid can trigger a Check Engine Light with EVAP-related codes such as P0441, P0443, or P0446. Replacing the solenoid with this Wells unit is a straightforward repair that restores proper emissions system performance. Sold as a single unit (1 Pack).
