Wells 2M1461 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

The Wells 2M1461 is a direct-fit vapor canister purge solenoid valve designed to restore proper evaporative emission control (EVAP) system function. This solenoid regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold, where they are burned during normal engine operation rather than released into the atmosphere.

Wells Vehicle Electronics engineers this solenoid to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring reliable operation and accurate purge cycle control. A faulty purge solenoid can trigger EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), illuminate the check engine light, and negatively affect fuel economy and idle quality.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for the original vapor canister purge solenoid
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications for fit, form, and function
• Helps maintain proper EVAP system operation and emissions compliance
• Restores correct fuel vapor management and idle quality
• Precision-wound solenoid coil for consistent valve actuation
• Corrosion-resistant construction for long service life

The Wells 2M1461 purge solenoid valve is a straightforward, plug-and-play replacement that helps eliminate EVAP system fault codes and restore peak engine performance. Backed by Wells' commitment to quality in fuel and emissions system components.
