Wells 2M1360 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2M1360 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a critical component of your vehicle's evaporative emissions (EVAP) system. This solenoid controls the flow of fuel vapors from the vapor canister to the engine intake manifold, allowing stored fuel vapors to be burned in the combustion chamber rather than released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE specifications in fit, form, and function
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Includes OE-style electrical connectors for direct plug-and-play installation
• Designed to meet or exceed original equipment performance standards
• Helps maintain proper emissions control and fuel economy

The vapor canister purge solenoid is controlled by the engine control module (ECM) and opens at specific times during engine operation to route fuel vapors into the intake stream. A failing purge solenoid can cause rough idle, poor fuel economy, failed emissions tests, or illumination of the check engine light. Typically mounted under the hood near the intake manifold, this Wells component provides reliable replacement for worn or malfunctioning original parts.
