Skyward Automotive Products SK36720 Radiator Cooling Fan Clutch

The Skyward Automotive Products SK36720 is a thermal radiator cooling fan clutch designed for engine-driven cooling systems commonly found in trucks, SUVs, and rear-wheel drive vehicles. This fan clutch mounts between the water pump and cooling fan blade assembly to regulate engine temperature by controlling fan engagement based on cooling demands.

Key Features:

• Thermal design uses temperature-activated valve for automatic fan engagement
• Engineered and tested to meet or exceed OE specifications for durability and performance
• Silicone fluid coupling provides smooth, reliable operation
• Helps maintain optimal engine operating temperature while conserving power
• Direct replacement for OEM part numbers including 6L2Z-8A616-BA and 7L2Z-8A616-A
• Precision-engineered for proper fit, form, and function

The thermal fan clutch operates by using a bimetallic spring that opens a valve when engine temperature rises, allowing silicone fluid to engage the clutch and spin the cooling fan at full speed. As the engine cools, the fluid returns to its reservoir and the clutch disengages, reducing fan speed and conserving engine power. This part is designed to provide years of trouble-free operation in demanding cooling system applications.
