Wells 5D1311 Distributor Cap Replacement

The Wells Vehicle Electronics 5D1311 is a direct-fit replacement distributor cap engineered to restore proper ignition function. The distributor cap receives high secondary current from the rotor and ignition coil, routing that current through each connected ignition wire to complete the path to the spark plug and fire the air/fuel mixture in the engine's cylinders.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE (Original Equipment) specifications in form, fit, and function
• OE-equivalent materials promote long service life and reliable performance
• Each tower routes high secondary current to the correct ignition wire and spark plug
• Engineered for fast, straightforward installation with no modifications required
• Global coverage supporting both domestic and import vehicle applications

Why Replace Your Distributor Cap?

• Worn or corroded cap towers create high secondary resistance, leading to ignition misfires
• A failing cap can cause Check Engine Light (CEL) / Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination
• Neglected caps may result in ICM (Ignition Control Module) failure, catalytic converter damage, increased fuel consumption, loss of power, or a failed emissions test
