Product Details

The Wells 5D1247 distributor cap is an OE-quality replacement ignition component designed to restore reliable spark distribution in your vehicle's ignition system. This distributor cap passes voltage from the ignition coil through the distributor to the spark plugs, igniting the air/fuel mixture in the engine's cylinders to generate power.

Key Features:

  • Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications for precise fit and function
  • Constructed from high dielectric strength materials for superior electrical performance
  • Reduces carbon tracking and resists electrical breakdown
  • Sends high secondary current to the proper ignition wires
  • Backed by 1-year manufacturer warranty

Wells Vehicle Electronics has been a leader in automotive electrical components for over 120 years, manufacturing premium ignition parts for OEMs, repair professionals, and DIY enthusiasts. Replacing a worn distributor cap can prevent common ignition issues including misfires, check engine light illumination, poor fuel economy, and loss of power.
