Wells 3D1115 Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit OE Replacement

The Wells (WVE by NTK) 3D1115 is an OE-replacement distributor cap and rotor kit engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications in form, fit, and function. Selling the cap and rotor together as a matched set eliminates guesswork and helps ensure proper installation every time.

The distributor cap routes high-voltage current from the ignition coil to the correct spark plug wire in firing-order sequence, while the rotor transfers that current across the cap's terminals. A worn or failed cap and rotor can cause misfires, rough idle, check engine/MIL illumination, increased fuel consumption, loss of power, or a failed emissions test.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications in form, fit, and function
• Cap molded from mica-filled and glass-filled polyester for superior dielectric strength
• Highly conductive brass and copper inserts resist corrosion and oxidation for long service life
• Rotor features a brass blade with radio frequency interference (RFI) suppression coating for accurate spark gap
• Corrosion-resistant stainless steel contact springs maintain consistent tension
• Matched cap and rotor kit reduces installation errors
• Direct-fit, vehicle-specific replacement for fast and straightforward installation

The Wells WVE 3D1115 distributor cap and rotor kit is part of WVE's comprehensive ignition component lineup, backed by Wells Vehicle Electronics' expertise as a global engineer and manufacturer of advanced vehicle electronics solutions for OE and replacement applications.
