Skyward Automotive Products SK128035 Engine Cooling Fan Clutch

The Skyward Automotive Products SK128035 Engine Cooling Fan Clutch is a direct-replacement thermal fan clutch designed to regulate cooling fan engagement based on engine temperature. This component plays a critical role in your vehicle's cooling system by controlling when the radiator fan operates at full or reduced speed, ensuring optimal engine temperature while conserving energy and improving fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

• Thermal fan clutch design uses temperature-sensitive fluid to automatically engage and disengage based on cooling needs
• Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for reliable fit and performance
• Engineered from durable materials for extended service life in demanding conditions
• Direct-fit replacement simplifies installation with no modifications required
• Helps prevent engine overheating while reducing unnecessary fan operation and noise
• Backed by SKP's 12-month limited warranty

This fan clutch connects to the water pump and controls the mechanical cooling fan's speed by using a thermostatic valve that manages silicone fluid flow within the clutch assembly. When engine temperature rises, the fluid engages the clutch to spin the fan at full speed, drawing maximum airflow through the radiator. As temperatures drop, the clutch disengages, allowing the fan to slow down and reducing the power draw on your engine. This automatic operation maintains optimal engine temperature while improving overall efficiency.
