Four Seasons 86891 A/C Compressor Clutch Coil

The Four Seasons 86891 A/C Compressor Clutch Coil is a direct replacement electromagnetic coil designed to engage the air conditioning compressor clutch. This essential component creates the magnetic field needed to engage the clutch assembly, allowing the compressor pulley to transfer power from the serpentine belt to the compressor shaft.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement coil for reliable A/C compressor operation
• Precision-wound copper wire construction for optimal electromagnetic performance
• Heat-resistant insulation designed to withstand engine compartment temperatures
• Engineered to OE specifications for proper fit and function
• Quality tested to ensure proper resistance and magnetic field strength

When the A/C system is activated, this coil energizes to engage the compressor clutch, enabling the refrigerant compression cycle. A failed clutch coil typically results in the compressor not engaging, leaving the A/C system inoperative. The Four Seasons 86891 provides a cost-effective repair solution without requiring full compressor replacement.
