Melling VCTA-1013H Variable Valve Timing Camshaft Sprocket Actuator

The Melling VCTA-1013H is a Variable Valve Timing (VVT) camshaft sprocket actuator designed for the exhaust camshaft position. This precision-engineered actuator controls the variable valve timing system by adjusting the camshaft position relative to the crankshaft, optimizing engine performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions across different RPM ranges.

Key Features:

• OE-quality replacement for exhaust camshaft VVT systems
• Precision-engineered solenoid mechanism for accurate timing control
• Direct-fit application for simplified installation
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Helps restore proper engine timing and performance

Melling is a trusted name in engine components with decades of experience manufacturing timing system parts. This camshaft actuator is designed to restore proper VVT operation when the original unit fails, which can cause check engine lights, rough idle, reduced fuel economy, or poor engine performance. Regular replacement of worn VVT actuators helps maintain optimal engine timing and longevity.
