Advanced Construction:

  • Two-piece bolted design with high-tensile 12.9 grade steel bolts reinforcing the caliper bridge section, machined from heat-treated low-pressure castings
  • Computer FEA analysis shows significant improvements in caliper stiffness compared to mono-block designs
  • Heat-treated low-pressure casting process provides higher overall strength and stiffness comparable to forged calipers
  • Lightweight hard-anodized aluminum pistons with serrated noses to reduce heat transfer into hydraulics
  • 100% stainless steel hardware including crossover pipe, hydraulic fittings, and wear plates - never corrodes
