The EBC BBK040BLK-1 is a comprehensive Balanced Big Brake Kit featuring high-performance Apollo 4-piston calipers and 330mm two-piece rotors for the front axle. This complete braking system upgrade is designed to provide significantly improved stopping power and fade resistance for performance-oriented driving.

Apollo 4-Piston Calipers:

• Lightweight aluminum construction machined from heat-treated low-pressure castings for superior strength
• Black high-temperature Teflon polyester coating that resists fading and cracking better than powder coating
• Staggered hard-anodized aluminum pistons with serrated noses to reduce heat transfer
• Two-piece bolted design reinforced with high-tensile 12.9 grade steel bolts for maximum rigidity
• 100% stainless steel hardware including crossover pipe, fittings, and pad retention bolt
• Single-bolt pad retention system for quick and easy pad changes

Rotor Specifications:

• 330mm (13-inch) diameter two-piece floating rotors
• 28mm rotor thickness for enhanced heat capacity
• Swept grooved design for improved cooling and wet weather performance
• UK-manufactured rotors with stainless steel drive bobbins for long-lasting corrosion resistance

Unlike most big brake kits that only upgrade the front axle, EBC's Balanced Big Brake Kit includes rear pads and brake lines to ensure optimal brake balance across all four wheels. The Yellowstuff brake pads feature ECE R90 approval and offer excellent cold bite with minimal dust while maintaining fade-free performance up to 550°C. This kit requires 20mm wheel spacers and is designed for use with OEM 17-inch or larger wheels.
