Remanufacturing Process:

• Begins with original equipment casting for precise fit and function
• Equipped with new seals, boots, and slide pins for reliable operation
• Features new bleed screws and caps for proper brake system maintenance
• Includes new phenolic or steel-faced phenolic pistons for durability
• New inlet-port copper washers ensure proper sealing

Quality Assurance:

• Undergoes production-type testing to ensure consistent performance
• 100% tested for high-pressure and low-pressure leaks
• Seals and boots tested for leak resistance and durability
• Pistons tested for abrasion resistance

Brake calipers are critical safety components that apply the clamping force needed to slow and stop your vehicle. A leaking, seized, or defective caliper significantly reduces braking performance and creates a dangerous driving condition. This Motorcraft remanufactured caliper restores your vehicle's original braking performance and safety. As an unloaded caliper, you'll need to source brake pads separately or reuse your existing pads if they're within specifications.
