Gates K080791 Micro-V Serpentine Belt - 8-Rib 79-9/16 Inch

The Gates K080791 is a Micro-V® serpentine drive belt featuring 8 ribs and a 79-9/16 inch (approximately 79.56") outside circumference. Engineered to match OEM size, construction, and materials, this belt delivers reliable power transmission for accessory drive systems including alternators, power steering pumps, air conditioning compressors, and more.

Key Features:

• 8-Rib Micro-V® profile — 1-3/32 in. (approx. 28mm) top width for precise fit in OEM-spec grooved pulleys
• EPDM rubber construction — resists cracking, heat, and wear on the rib surface for extended service life
• Aramid fiber tensile cords — high-strength reinforcement minimizes stretch and tension loss over time
• Noise-reducing belt construction — engineered to eliminate belt squeal and solve problem drive applications
• Flexible design — withstands billions of topside and backside bends in automatic belt drive systems (ABDS)
• Meets or exceeds SAE J1459, SAE J2432, and SAE J1596 specifications
• Meets or exceeds all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications

Gates recommends replacing serpentine belts at 90,000 miles to prevent unexpected breakdowns, or per the vehicle or equipment manufacturer's service interval. Tensioner replacement is recommended when installing a new belt (if equipped).
