Gates 51482 Premium Modular Coolant Hose 1-5/16in x 1-13/32in x 16-1/4in with 2 Henn Quick Connectors

The Gates 51482 is a premium modular coolant hose measuring 1-5/16 in. x 1-13/32 in. x 16-1/4 in. and featuring 2 Henn quick connectors for fast, secure installation. Designed as a direct OE replacement, this modular hose assembly matches the complexity and specifications of the original factory hose to ensure proper fit and reliable cooling system performance.

Modular coolant hoses are hose assemblies with one or more integrated components built directly into the hose, making them more complex than standard molded hoses. The Henn quick connectors on this unit provide a tool-free, leak-resistant connection that mirrors the OE design.

Key Features:

• Dimensions: 1-5/16 in. x 1-13/32 in. x 16-1/4 in.
• Includes 2 integrated Henn quick connectors
• EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and EPDM cover
• Heat and ozone resistant cover for long service life
• Engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, eliminating the need for an internal spring in most applications
• Specifically formulated compounds resist electrochemical degradation — a leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 (under 1 in. ID) and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 (1 in. ID and over)
• Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed to ensure a proper seal and maximum system integrity.
