Gates 51405 Premium Molded Coolant Hose

The Gates 51405 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is a factory-style replacement hose engineered to deliver reliable coolant flow between your engine and cooling system components. Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this molded hose maintains its shape under the heat, pressure, and vibration demands of modern engines.

Gates manufactures this hose using high-quality EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, which provides outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, and electrochemical degradation—one of the leading causes of coolant hose failure. The molded construction ensures a precise, leak-free fit that matches the original routing of the factory hose.

Key Features:

• Premium EPDM rubber construction for maximum heat and ozone resistance
• Molded design replicates OEM hose shape for direct, no-modification installation
• Resistant to electrochemical degradation (ECD) that causes hose failure from the inside out
• Reinforced construction withstands high coolant system pressures
• Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications
• Gates OEM part number: 51405
