The Gates 24817 is a Premium Molded Radiator Coolant Hose engineered to deliver OEM-quality performance as a direct-fit replacement. Pre-shaped to match original equipment specifications, this hose installs quickly and seals reliably, eliminating the need to visit an OE dealer for a replacement radiator hose.

  • EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover
  • Electrochemical degradation (ECD) resistance — engineered to combat the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Vacuum collapse resistance — specifically engineered materials reduce the need for internal support springs
  • Pre-shaped design ensures a perfect fit and perfectly sealed conditions right out of the box
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Dimensions: 1-11/32 in. inlet x 1-11/32 in. outlet x 24-3/4 in. length
  • Meets SAE 20R4, Class D2 and DIN 73411, Class A requirements (except tolerances)

Important: Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed.
