Wells 2M1363 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2M1363 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a critical component of the evaporative emissions (EVAP) system that helps reduce harmful emissions and improve fuel economy. This precision-engineered solenoid controls the flow of fuel vapors from the vapor canister to the engine intake manifold, where they are burned during the combustion process rather than being released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE specifications in fit, form, and function
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicles
• Manufactured to meet or exceed vehicle manufacturer specifications
• Works in concert with the fuel system, underhood electronics, and engine to minimize environmental pollutants
• Includes OE-style electrical connectors for seamless installation
• Controlled by the Engine Control Module (ECM) for precise vapor management

The vapor canister purge solenoid opens at specific times during the engine's operating cycle based on various operating conditions determined by the ECM. This process prevents fuel vapor from escaping to the atmosphere, reducing emissions and preventing fuel loss due to evaporation. Wells Vehicle Electronics products are built with world-class engineering and high-technology manufacturing to deliver reliable, long-lasting performance that meets or exceeds OEM standards.
