Wells 2M1271 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2M1271 is a direct-fit vapor canister purge solenoid (also known as an EVAP purge valve or purge control solenoid valve) designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This solenoid regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold, where they are burned as part of the normal combustion process — keeping harmful emissions out of the atmosphere and maintaining fuel efficiency.

Wells Vehicle Electronics is a trusted OEM-level supplier of ignition, engine management, and emissions components. The 2M1271 is engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring a reliable, long-lasting replacement that installs without modification.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement for the vapor canister purge solenoid
• Restores proper EVAP system operation and resolves related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
• Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Helps eliminate Check Engine Light caused by EVAP system faults
• Durable construction for long service life
• Sold as a single (1 Pack) unit

A failed purge solenoid commonly triggers fault codes such as P0443, P0444, or P0445, and may cause rough idle, poor fuel economy, or a persistent Check Engine Light. Replacing the solenoid with the Wells 2M1271 is a straightforward repair that restores proper emissions system performance.
