Wells 2M1256 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2M1256 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a precision-engineered emissions control component designed to manage fuel vapor flow in the evaporative emissions (EVAP) system. This solenoid controls the release of fuel vapors stored in the vapor canister, routing them into the engine's intake manifold where they can be burned during combustion, helping to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form, and function
• Direct replacement for OE stamping number 90910-12196
• Includes OE-style electrical connector compatibility (use mating connector 1P1876)
• Electronically controlled by the Engine Control Module (ECM) for precise vapor management
• Manufactured with high-quality materials for reliable long-term performance
• Designed for both domestic and imported vehicle applications

The vapor canister purge solenoid is a critical component of your vehicle's EVAP system. When this part fails, it can cause rough idle, check engine light illumination, failed emissions tests, reduced fuel economy, and poor engine performance. The Wells 2M1256 provides a reliable OE-quality solution to restore proper EVAP system function and keep your vehicle running efficiently while meeting emissions standards.
