Wells 1S5705 Clutch Pedal Position Switch

The Wells 1S5705 is a direct-fit Clutch Pedal Position Switch designed to restore proper clutch engagement sensing to manual transmission vehicles. This switch signals the vehicle's powertrain control module (PCM) when the clutch pedal is depressed, enabling functions such as starter interlock (preventing engine start unless the clutch is pressed) and cruise control disengagement.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM-replacement design for precise fit and function
• Restores proper clutch pedal position sensing to the vehicle's control systems
• Supports starter interlock and cruise control cut-off functions
• Built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in OE-quality sensor and switch components

The Wells 1S5705 is engineered for a straightforward, plug-and-play installation, utilizing the existing factory wiring harness connector with no modification required. It is an ideal replacement for a faulty or failed clutch pedal position switch that may cause a no-start condition, cruise control malfunction, or related drivability issues.
