USA Standard Gear 33000 Replacement Oil Baffle for Dana 44 Differential

The USA Standard Gear 33000 is a replacement oil baffle designed specifically for Dana 44 differentials. This critical component installs between the differential housing and the inner pinion bearing race, playing a vital role in maintaining proper lubrication within the pinion bearing assembly.

Key Features:

• Precision-manufactured steel construction for Dana 44 applications
• Helps maintain oil level in the pinion bearing snout area
• Essential component for differential rebuilds and gear installations
• Direct OEM replacement design ensures proper fitment
• Prevents oil starvation of outer pinion bearing

The oil baffle features a stepped disc design with a center hole sized to fit the pinion shaft. During operation, it helps keep the oil level elevated in the differential snout where the outer pinion bearing sits, ensuring adequate lubrication and preventing premature bearing failure. This component is typically included in master overhaul kits but is also available separately for service and replacement needs.

Compatible with Dana 44 front and rear axle assemblies commonly found in Jeep, Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet vehicles from 1948 to present. Proper installation requires adjusting pinion shim pack thickness to account for the baffle's dimensions.
